Summary

The decay of correlations of many-body systems in thermal equilibrium remains as a challenging problem. While for lattice systems, either classical or quantum, a wide range of mathematical techniques have been developed, particle systems in the continuum lag behind. The project develops novel techniques for estimating decay of correlations for continuous particle systems, building on recent progress in the theory of random point processes.
