The mathematics of quantum systems

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has approved a new Collaborative Research Centre in Mathematical Physics, which is a joint collaboration between LMU Munich, TU Munich and the University of Tübingen, while the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (Klosterneuburg) is an external member and the Universities of Copenhagen and Zurich are associated members. CRC TRR 352 will investigate the mathematical foundations and regularities of many-body quantum systems. The SFB's spokesperson is Professor Christian Hainzl from the Department of Mathematics, LMU Munich.
