The CRC’s Annual Retreat was held from October 6–10, 2024, at the Explorer Hotel Garmisch in Farchant. Nearly 60 members, including both established researchers and early-career scientists, gathered for a productive few days.
Each morning, project teams presented brief talks and posters, providing valuable insights into their research. The afternoons featured engaging discussions, and participants had the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Alps.
On Wednesday morning, we recognized outstanding contributions to our field. M. Christiansen received the award for the best postdoctoral research paper, while D. Sulz and A. Lauritsen were honored for their exceptional PhD research papers.
We appreciate everyone’s participation and look forward to another successful year of research ahead.
